I fell for their vibrant designs, from the sports bralettes to their Flexi Dancer Leggings. But the verdict is always out until you as a matter of fact try on a pair. Billed as a “trade-to-workout” collection, its pieces are meant to be comfortable enough to segue from a day sitting at your desk to a night out on the... In other words: Lively pieces will make good the cut for your yoga class, but wouldn't necessarily work for a run. from swim we are pulling in cool-handed fabrics, bold prints and colorblocking. and from lingerie, we allure in the best components of function and femininity,” Michelle Cordeiro Grant, Lively’s founder and CEO, told Refinery29. Victoria's Covert dominates the lingerie market. But since CEO Sharen Jester Turney abruptly left in February , the company has made several moves that have sent consumers reeling — namely, ditching its iconic catalog and dropping its acclaimed swimwear sector. Swimwear is, on the surface, at least, tantamount to lingerie, so this change in particular left consumers scratching their heads. But according Gabriella Santaniello, analyst and stumble of A Line Partners, nixing swimwear was a brilliant decision. It's evidence that Victoria's Secret is adapting to an evolving time. Their swimwear final year was not the best performing category for them," she said, adding that it's also seasonal, whereas undergarments and athleisure apparel are not. Still, cutting such an iconic relatively of the brand could send a troubling signal to consumers.
